Ministry of Local Government Rural Development and Cooperatives is going to celebrate Local Government Day-2023 for the first time. The government of the country is making various preparations to celebrate the day.
First, 5 September 2023 was fixed to celebrate the day. But later, the government prepared to change it again to 14 September 2023.
On this occasion, all the city corporations, chairman and members of the zilla parishad, chairman and vice chairman of the upazila parishad, mayor of the municipality, chairman of the union parishad have been issued an invitation letter through the district administrator, instructing them to appear in person at Ganabhaban on 14th September 2023 at 7 am. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
However, he has clearly mentioned in the letter that he will not be able to participate in dawa for another person without special reasons and above mentioned person and without invitation letter. Letter attached. Mr. DDLG also mentioned in the letter that no one can be absent from dawa without a clear and reasonable reason.
On 13th September 2023 there will be a rehearsal with some elected representatives and then on 14th September 2023 the day will be officially celebrated. Honorable Prime Minister People's Leader Sheikh Hasina has confirmed that she will be the chief guest at the celebration. After that, it is known that various programs to celebrate the day will be taken simultaneously in all local government institutions across the country on 17, 18, 19 September 2023.
